"content": "<p>This was a nice challenge and it was my first image processing experience. It is really cool to stick labels to a restaurant by just looking at the pictures taken by its customers.\nBut, can't it be down in a simpler way just by looking at the meta data of the photos?\nI know that usually meta data are removed from photos because of privacy reasons. But not all the meta data expose the privacy of the user to the public, yet they provide valuable information about a restaurant. \nExposure time, f-number and ISO provide information about the lighting condition of the restaurant, and together with the time of the photo one can guess if the restaurant is good for lunch, good for dinner or it has outdoor seating. Probably the brand and type of camera/phone may say if a restaurant is expensive or if the ambiance is classy. </p>",
