"3217886": "Thanks @cpmpml haha. Unfortunately, I will be away for the rest of this one!\n\nReally wanted to take part - so I did a 3 week sprint and shared everything instead 😀",

"3221261": "You are in the place of best free resources in the world: Kaggle :) Just get immersed in competitions. Public notebooks are your best friends. Past competitions top solutions should be your mentors. If you truly try to win, you will acquire knowledge faster than you think.",
"3221822": "but still i am at beginner level you can consider i am learning EDA or pre-processing so at this point i can't understand top solution code so that is why i am asking that how can i learn the basics and become expert in this ..",
"3221828": "Try the playground competitions.\n\nAlso, take Andrew Ng ML course on coursera. There seems to be a more recent version than the one I took a while ago: https://www.coursera.org/specializations/machine-learning-introduction\nThe one I took was using Octave, not Python. But it was great. I assume the new one is as good.",
"3221987": "I think Octave is great. I actually do ML exclusively in Octave, C++, and Java, entirely without Python. For Kaggle code submissions, the only Python I write is a couple of lines of oct2py calling my Octave code and native code.\n\nMany scientists and engineers mainly work with Octave/Matlab. It would be awesome if Kaggle provides Octave as an option. Unfortunately, that's not the case.\n\nIt's a lot of excruciating pain to get Kaggle code submission to work natively for Octave. But I have managed to do it, and with Intel MKL so my BLAS speed is great! When I have time, if there's interest I'll share a detailed notebook showing how it's done.",
