\nI am asking this because not all people work from kaggle notebooks using competition dataset all the time.
The competition data won't change. Those refinements are images you can choose to use yourself (see https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/vesuvius-challenge-ink-detection/discussion/414686) but we won't include them in the official dataset.

\nIf it is refinement of the mask, it might be easier to handle, but if it is 'ink labels that is refined', than it will be a good idea that you link those 'refined inklabel.png's' into pinned discussions/code
\nI dont's see why anybody wouldn't want to work with refined labels, if available.
Since the test set contains \"not refined\" version of the labels, I would highly recommend using consistent with test (original) labels for training :)
