      "content": "<p>I personally don't think SAM should work on this dataset for some reasons</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Despite the fact that SAM was trained on a very large dataset, SA-1B dataset (Data to train SAM) contains images of normal life such as cars, houses, animals, … (I did not check the dataset too carefully, but based on the examples in the paper). Whereas the competition dataset are X-rays cans, the distribution is very different</li>\n<li>Competition dataset is 3D - 1 channel, SA-1B dataset is 2d and 3 channels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>It may work if fine-tune SAM on competition dataset</p>",
