A few plots showing evolution vs time of the leaderboard.</p>\n\n<p>First number of team vs time, nothing salient: \n<img src=\"https://storage.googleapis.com/kaggle-forum-message-attachments/371022/10090/leaderboard_nteamsvstime.png\" alt=\"enter image description here\"></p>\n\n<p>Then number of submissions vs time, showing the first rush, a lull, and the final rush:<img src=\"https://storage.googleapis.com/kaggle-forum-message-attachments/371022/10091/leaderboard_nsubmissionperday.png\" alt=\"enter image description here\"></p>\n\n<p>More interesting the best score of the 100 best teams (based on final score) vs time, showing a first boost on scores after 2-3 weeks (time it took for people to get familiar with the competition), a lull, and a rush from 2 weeks before the deadline  :\n<img src=\"https://storage.googleapis.com/kaggle-forum-message-attachments/371022/10092/leaderboard_vstime.png\" alt=\"enter image description here\"></p>\n\n<p>And the same thing as a gif, if it goes through (no cycling, looks like you have to reopen th image in a new window to replay it).
