"content": "<p>Patients who are included in the study are already diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Knowing that they have Parkinson's, the goal of the study is to see how the Freeze of Gout is triggered. Since Freeze of Gout is inability to walk, the small sensor glued to the lower back of the patients measures movement and acceleration of the body. This sensor is not much different than the acceleration sensors in any fitness or Apple watches that measures steps, speed and acceleration. According to the information online, this sensor is connected wirelessly to a nearby phone device that records all the data from the sensor. It is unclear what is all the data that is recorded from the sensor, but we are only given 3 points of it. These 3 points of data are AccV , AccML and AccAP. In general, those are the three columns in the data files, and they represent acceleration or deceleration (when the number is negative) of the movements of the patients. Having in mind the enormous volume of data collected, the only way to analyze the data is to run it through a ML model to see what the FOG trigger is. This is where we step in. Good luck!</p>",
