Registered my number and attempted, with much excitement, to upload my first submission, only to discover that I had just missed the first submission deadline by a day. Yikes!</p>\n\n<p>Yes, my fault for not reading the guidelines properly. But I'd love to be able to make a submission. Is there any way at all for me to participate or at least make a submission.  Can I shamefacedly ask for an exception? Pretty please :(</p>",

A couple of days after the close Kaggle often re-open new submissions to everyone. You don't get a leaderboard place, but you do get to see how well you would of done.</p>",
