"content": "<p>It looks like at least two teams, presumably having been incorrectly disqualified, were restored to the rankings. Of course, mistaken disqualifications need to be corrected. However, surely Kaggle must ensure that the teams who were announced as receiving gold, silver or bronze medals in the previously 'finalised' rankings don't lose medals or have them downgraded? If that means awarding gold medals down to 12th place, silver to 51st or bronze to 102nd, then those extra medal slots need to be added to ensure that people who were awarded medals, shared the good news with friends colleagues and family, maybe added them to a cv or job application, don't lose what they were promised. Though I am fortunate enough not to be directly affected, I have sympathy for anyone deprived of a hard-earned medal by after-the-fact adjustment of the LB.</p>",
