Why these deleted accounts don't get removed from the medal tier and leaderboard. I've seen this in previous competitions too, these deleted accounts which are to be precise secondary accounts of another competitor which help them to get more subs and tpu usage are don't being kicked even after the release of private leaderboard. \nAlso, there are lots of novice in medal tiers, I am not judging that all of them are secondary accounts and should be removed. But, there are 2-3 novice in silver zone who've joined kaggle a few days back and are just participating in this competition only.I believe some of them are cheating. \n*I've posted this just because those medals are getting into wrong hands instead of a deserving competitor. *</p>\n\n<p><a href=\"/ipythonx\">@ipythonx</a> added: \"I've asked in ALASKA2 competition on this issue, and got replied that the user themselves delete their account, so kaggle didn't remove those position on the lb. I think kaggle team should remove them too while cleaning up the private Leaderboard. </p>",

*\n\n@ipythonx added: \"I've asked in ALASKA2 competition on this issue, and got replied that the user themselves delete their account, so kaggle didn't remove those position on the lb. And the reply sounds weird, I know.\" \nI have rarely seen anyone deleting their accounts on kaggle, and if he is doing so, that completely means that he doesn't even care about the ongoing competition or he is involved in some kind of malpractices. I think kaggle team should remove them too while cleaning up the private Leaderboard. ",
"956943": "Thanks for raising this. As a standard, we don't do mid-stream removals, in order to preserve traceability and mitigate against the same offenders re-creating new accounts. So, as someone else observed, we clean the leaderboard at the end of the competition. Depending on the circumstances, deleted accounts may be retained, especially if the deletion happens after the end of the competition, as we do not constantly refresh standings based on newly deleted accounts into perpetuity. You've raised valid concerns, and we'll continue to keep a close eye to ensuring that this cleanup happens as consistently as possible.",
"957589": "oh...that's a serious issue. Think about persons who are just a rank below medal tier.",
"956618": "Thanks for bringing this up. I have seen this a few times but didn't check in detail.\n\nIt certainly doesn't make sense to keep a user on the private LB if the user deleted the account before the competition end time. Is there any merit in it? It is also a very simple check / filter for Kaggle to include as part of the finalizing process of competitions.\n\nIf the user deleted the account after the competition end time, I think it is still debatable.",
"955688": "It is frustrating, when you try hard reach medal but someone create clones and take 2 or 3 medals in one hands.",
