"content": "
Hi,
\n
I'm training my dataset, and it's looking good, but I'm left wondering what the actual labels MEAN in a medical, literal definition. Could someone *please * help me out?
\n
'Negative for Pneumonia' - Easy enough, the lungs do not have pneumonia
\n
From here I don't understand what these mean. Why do we need typical and atypical - why can't atypical just be negative typical? We dont also have a \"positive for pneumonia\" classification.
\n'Typical Appearance' \n'Indeterminate Appearance' \n'Atypical Appearance'
\n
I've read through other posts trying to understand the interpretation of this stuff, but haven't been able to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
",
