Its very unfortunate that people these days care mostly about publishing every other day to be at the top of the \"AI race\", especially big companies. I wished more people focused on data and actual real world impact rather than the miniscule improvements over ImageNet. IMO Kaggle competitions in that sense are closer to have a real world impact than most of the papers thanks to people competing and validating the problem/data. This reminds me of <a href=\"https://arxiv.org/abs/1206.4656\" target=\"_blank\">https://arxiv.org/abs/1206.4656</a> which is a paper from 2012 but I guess not much changed over almost a decade.</p>",
