  "content": "<p>How do you extract the files on windows? I downloaded two files and tried to extract them using 7 zip. In both cases the program did not complain but extracted a single file without any extension e.g.:</p>\n<p>Dog_1.gz -&gt; Dog_1</p>\n<p>Dog_5.gz -&gt; Dog_5</p>\n<p>could anyone explain me how to extract the gz files on windows?</p>",

      "content": "<p>if you have cygwin or if you download tar you can do</p>\n\n<p>tar -xzvf filename</p>\n\n<p>that extracts it in one go.</p>",
