  "content": "<p>Given the confusion about what the metric is and the lack of starter code. I thought a beat the benchmark script could help a bit.</p>\n<p>I put together a simple beat the benchmark script that can be found at this <a href=\"https://github.com/matteson/seizure_beat_the_benchmark\">git repo</a>. The basic idea is, for each clip, find the variance of the signal for each electrode.&nbsp;The variances of the clip are used as features for a lasso logistic fit. Scores in the neighborhood of .77 on the public board.</p>\n<p>Best of luck.</p>",

However, There is issue in the file predict_seizure_variance.m</p>\n\n<p><strong>Patient_4/...Reference to non-existent field 'Index1SE'.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Error in predict_seizure_variance (line 41)</strong><br><strong>earlyIndx = FitInfoEarly.Index1SE;</strong></p>\n\n<p>when i look the FitInfoEarly, it only has the following fields:</p>\n\n<p><strong>FitInfoEarly =</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Intercept: -1.8076</strong><br><strong> Lambda: 1.0000e-03</strong><br><strong> Alpha: 1</strong><br><strong> DF: 10</strong><br><strong> Deviance: 372.9511</strong><br><strong> PredictorNames: {}</strong></p>\n\n<p>Any ideas,</p>\n<p>Thanks</p>",
