"content": "
Do the mat files work with octave version 3.6.4? I get the following 2 errors when I use the load command:
\n
octave:15> load Volumes/Seagate/seizure_detection/competition_data/clips/Dog_1/Dog_1_ictal_segment_100.mat
\n

error: load: invalid array name subelement
error: load: trouble reading binary file 'Volumes/Seagate/seizure_detection/competition_data/clips/Dog_1/Dog_1_ictal_segment_100.mat'
\n
For the record, I've tried all the options (binary,hdf5,ascii,mat,v4,v5,v6, etc). I also know the file's path is correct because I can 'ls' it from within octave.
\n\n
UPDATE: I'm still not able to load these files into octave, but I can load them into R with the readMat method from the R.matlab package.
",
