  "content": "<p>On behalf of Booz Allen Hamilton, Kaggle and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), thank you for participating in the second annual Data Science Bowl!</p>\n\n<p>We appreciate the time you took to participate in this year&#8217;s competition. We know it was a complex design and recognize that two stage competitions bring their own set of frustrations. Ultimately, this design is what allowed us to run an impactful imaging challenge. You should feel an immense sense of pride for taking a step towards transforming the way that we diagnose heart disease.</p>\n\n<p>We extend a special congratulations to those who have placed in the top 10 on the leaderboard. We will be reaching out to the top three winners individually and will publicly name the winning teams on Monday, March 21st.</p>",

Usually Kaggle boasts how many teams participated and how many submissions are made.</p>\n\n<p>Somehow it stings me a bit that 750 teams participated and now only 190 teams and way less submissions are now logged due to the second phase. </p>\n\n<p>Of course I say this only for my own motivations (more teams = more bragging rights/points/badges) but it's also better for Kaggle to fix this somehow.</p>\n\n<p>For now it looks like two of the most ambitious competitions (this one and the Allen AI science competion) did attract the least teams..
