  "content": "<p>Some questions regarding the Data:</p>\n\n<ol>\n<li><p>What are the patient characteristics of the training &amp; validation data set? Are they all healthy subjects?</p></li>\n<li><p>I saw the range of PatientsAge values from the training data set stretches to 002M (2 months). Does this mean the data include pedriatic cases? How reliable is the PatientsAge DICOM header information?</p></li>\n<li><p>What is the permission of re-using the Data for research / academic purpose outside the scope of this competition? I know that the rules say the Data should only solely be used for this competition, but on this page: <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/second-annual-data-science-bowl/data\">https://www.kaggle.com/c/second-annual-data-science-bowl/data</a>, it says under the Citation heading:</p></li>\n</ol>\n\n<blockquote>\n  <p>The data for the Data Science Bowl is available for research and academic pursuits.       "content": "<p>Couple of quick comments.</p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>All datasets are patients. Some patients have healthy hearts, but they are all patients. Without getting too philosophical, nobody is entirely healthy. There are many more patients with heart disease in this dataset than in the average population as evident from the ventricular volumes. </li>\n<li>There are pediatric patients in the data. The age should be pretty reliable. As with all other data, there could be discrepancies. </li>\n<li>I will let the competition organizers answer that one. </li>\n</ol>",
