      "content": "<p>If you use pydicom.apply_voi_lut(), pydicom will look for a VOI LUT in the DICOM image. If it finds one, it will apply it to the pixels. If there is not a VOI LUT available and the default window width and center tags are set, it will use them to create a linear LUT on the pixels.</p>",
