\nBuilding upon our 10-year effort on the International Brain Tumor Segmentation (BraTS) challenge, we are excited to again give the opportunity to all participants, to formally describe their approach and results in a short paper, published as part of MICCAI workshop LNCS proceedings and distributed by Springer.
\nParticipants interested in this opportunity, can prepare their short paper using the LNCS template, and submit it by August 13, 2021, through the CMT submission system. The official LNCS template for both LaTeX and MS Word is available directly from Springer.
\nParticipants who will submit this short paper and are ranked in the top 10 in the public leaderboard at the end of August, will also be invited to present their methods and results (virtually) during MICCAI (Sep.27).
\nAll participants will also be given the opportunity to edit their short paper right after the conclusion of the challenge, to include their final results and make adjustments to the description of their finally used method. Note that if you are not interested in presenting your results at MICCAI, you could submit only the extended final version of your paper by December 12, 2021.

However those presenting on Sept 27th based on end of Aug public leaderboard results will be exposing their solutions prior the final submission deadline of Oct 15th. To better align with the MICCAI timeline it might be best to pull in the final submission deadline to Sept 27th or before. From what I've seen of the dataset a pulled in timeline shouldn't significantly impact the quality of solutions.
