  "content": "<p>I noticed people are exporting 8 bit images (jpg/png) with default width/level settings. This results in the loss of diagnostic information by not maintaining subtle variations in pixel values .. which are important when looking at soft tissue (like brain MRs) especially.</p>\n<p>By applying 'windowing' on raw pixels, we can visualize brain tumors (and other anatomy) better.
