"content": "
Hi,
\nsorry for silly question, it is related to Rules of competition and use of open source software.
\nIn Rules it is written, that \"You hereby grant and will grant to Competition Sponsor and its designees a (…) fully paid-up, royalty-free, perpetual, \" etc.
\nLets say I found on github a code on MIT license which I want to reuse in this competition. Is that allowed or shall I code everything from the scratch?
\nHow about other licenses, like Apache 2.0, BSD (2 or 3 clause), or perhaps others?
\n
I also assume that I should include all copyright notices according the license.
\n
It is written that \"For generally commercially available software that you used (…) you do not need to grant the license in the preceding sentence for that software.\", however open source is not commercial software. Can anyone confirm?
",
