  "content": "<p>Many of you might have noticed that kernels are getting copy/pasted all over the place. From what I can tell, a lot originate from <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/lgreig/simple-lgbm-baseline\" target=\"_blank\">this kernel</a>.</p>\n<p>One thing that I find funny is that some of them keep running <code>from  sklearn.tree import DecisionTreeClassifier</code>, just because it was imported in the original kernel, even though it is never used at all! It is just an artifact that the OP forgot to remove.</p>\n<p>I wonder: how long will we still see this decision tree import in kernels? If we still see this in \"new\" kernels in a month or two, then I think that it would be a blaring proof of the fact that some people are not even thinking about what they're doing; they're just mindlessly copy/pasting and modifying a parameter.</p>\n<p>A nice analogy is <a href=\"https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Coded_anti-piracy\" target=\"_blank\">code anti-piracy</a>, wherein a watermark is added to a movie in order to assess who leaked it before its scheduled release.</p>\n<p>This could be the start of a meme in this competition.</p>",
