"content": "
Hello, my name is Collin. I’m looking for some really good teammates to work on this project. I have some very unique experiences that I think could be very valuable. While I don’t work at Recursion Pharma, the company that is hosting this competition, I’m very familiar with their work. I’ve visited their lab and I used to work with a few of the people that are now employed at Recursion. I worked for 7 years at a similar genetic testing company where I met most of these people. I have a masters in biotechnology and one of my first projects out of undergrad was correcting for batch and plate effects in situations just like this.
\n\n
I currently work as a data scientist at Pluralsight, but most of my work revolves around sales and marketing. My python skills are very good and I routinely build production level work. However, all the data I use is structured and I don’t have as much experience with image analysis or deep learning. I’ve got some basic experience with Keras and fastai.
\n\n
If you are up for sharing your expertise on the deep learning front, I’m willing to augment it with my domain knowledge and hopefully we can learn more together.
",
