This is only my second competition on Kaggle and already I feel I have learnt a lot more than the last 10 months. I have seen latest and greatest SOTA models at work and learnt how to implement them. As a competitive environment pushes everyone to give a little extra, I always had the motivation to learn something new everyday.
\n
I worked really hard in the last 1 month using the little knowledge I had and acquired knowledge from the discussions forum. Even though my hard-work was only as good as 0.969 CV, but I do not regret a single minute of it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through the discussions and seeing numerous awesome approaches by the bests on Kaggle. And I sincerely hope I would be up-to the mark and be able to share novel approaches like them one-day.
\n
I really want to thank Kaggle in general and people on this competition in particular for being so generous and accommodating. And I am really thankful to the people who answered my silly questions on the forum and those who shared awesome ideas & implementations of SOTA algorithms for beginner's like me to learn from.
\n
Any beginners like me here like to share their experience?
