  "content": "<p>Hello Kagglers !!!<br>\nI am new to Kaggle live competitions. I just wanted to know that why so less teams participated in this competition. I saw Cassava Leaf Disease Competition had around 3900 teams. I know many of them will join as the competition approaches closer to deadline, but still I hardly see the team number crossing 2000. I just wanted to know the opinions of seasoned Kagglers. Is this competition tough or what ? <br>\nYour opinion will help me to clear the confusion.<br>\nThanks </p>",

      "content": "<p>I haven't participated in this competition yet, but below two factors may affect a participation of a competition. </p>\n<p><strong>1. size of the data</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bigger the data is, the harder it is to process through them. This can make some participants to drop-out before submitting prediction results because it takes too long to process and make a model. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>2. number of labels</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since both Cassava and RANZCR are classification problems, I think the total number of labels can also be a factor. The more labels there are to predict, the harder it is to make a model. Cassava had 5 labels and RANZCR has 11 labels. Again, this could hinder many participants from making their first submission. </li>\n</ul>",
