Lately there seems to be more troubling behavior: people are forking kernels and making them public without any attribution to the original, often with no changes.</p>\n\n<p>I came across a kernel in this competition where a person forked a kernel and only removed the lines where the original author gave credit to others. Then he added \"please upvote\" to his title. Sad to say it had 12 upvotes. Maybe I'm missing something here?</p>\n\n<p>Of course we all take code/ideas from others - that's what makes kernels so awesome. Please let's do it in a good way. Besides, you may find that crediting others will get you even more upvotes!</p>",
