Yes, it captures the audio around the phone, but elements of voice from the participant can also be bundled with that data.&nbsp; Here is one theory on why voice data could be useful in this project.&nbsp; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWsehvUkI-c</p>\r\n<p>2. Yes, you are looking at the log correctly.&nbsp; It shows you when the sensor starts recording, when it stops, and more specifically what types of data it records.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Hope that helps!</p>",

      "content": "<p>None of these phones were used to make calls as none had carrier service.&nbsp; They were all used as completely passive monitoring devices, and we collected data via Wifi.&nbsp; So all the audio data is passive, and probably has different background noise mixed in\r\n with voice data from participants and those they might have spoken to from time to time.</p>",
