Hi! We have had some complex issues to deal with on the cheating removal for this competition, with some significant investigation required. We also had some staff out last week due to the holiday, which slowed things down. My apologies.

@philculliton Thanks but can we get an explanation on why our team got removed .. second time happening without any explanation all hard work going to vain .. we already made our code and techniques public https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/predict-student-performance-from-game-play/discussion/420181 . Atleast give us some response so we know what is causing it .

I once was removed, and it was because a team mate cheated (he used more than one account). I didn't know, and I only discovered it after we lost our gold medal and got removed. And I knew only because that team mate had the guts to acknowledge his mistake in public.

Make sure something like that did not happen in your team.

Sure thanks @cpmpml will surely do just that it now happened with me in 2 comp PSP and OTTO (for medals), we did report to compliance but no response. just frustrated as lot of effort goes to waste maybe will not team up with people I dont know in future 😞

I concur. My team mate is about to disappear for a long trip soon, and we haven't been contacted for winner obligations yet. This is hard to understand.

Wow! I would say this - with all the competitions that had leaked data I have participated in and others with various issues, this one is the worst competition experience I have ever had on Kaggle. This one in addition to the data/API issues, the communication of what is going on is sub par. This is unacceptable imho.
