"content": "
I'm more than a little behind the times especially when it comes to this cloud computing and storage stuff. Quite frankly, I don't have much time to devote to this competition and so would much rather analyze the data instead of learning how to work on the cloud. There are budgetary considerations too. Is there any way to download en-masse the _.a3d files from the bucket so I can work on this on my own computer at home? Or at least a large number of those files?
",

Here is the command I used:
\n\n

gsutil -m cp -n gs://kaggle-tsa-stage1/stage1/a3d/* .\n

\n\n
Basically, the '-m' allows multiple instances (quicker because there are more threads running). The 'cp' is like the Unix 'cp' (copy) command.
\n\n
The 'gs://kaggle-tsa-stage1/stage1/a3d/*' is the source location
\n\n
The '.' is the location to store the files (current directory in my case).
\n\n
Patrick
",
