"content": "
Hi,
\n
I have made many submissions and my best scoring public submission is around -6.83 but I believe this overfits so I have chosen my two final submissions as other submissions which have a lower public leader board score but a better groupK CV score. However, when I view the public leader board it still shows the score from my best submission, not the best of the two selected ones.
\n
Is this normal and it doesn't matter since the private leader board score will be calculated based on the two selected ones still even though the public one isn't?
\n
Thanks in advance
",

      "content": "
The public LB shows the best score from your submissions, irrespective of the submissions you have selected.
\n
Also could you clarify what do you mean by \"lower\" public score? If you're trying to convey the \"lower\" submission as the one having a worse public LB score (for example, -7.0xxx over your current -6.8351), you can proceed choosing the submission with a better CV score as the public LB won't matter as a shakeup is imminent.
\n
If I were to pick a submission, I'd definitely pick the ones with good CV score. Hope I cleared your doubt!
",
