  "content": "<p>when i try to read those files with</p>\n\n<p>\" train&lt;-path.expand(\"E:/Downloads/osic-pulmonary-fibrosis-progression/train\")\ntraindata&lt;-readDICOM(train)\" ( 22G in size)</p>\n\n<p>i get: </p>\n\n<p>\"Error in parsePixelData(fraw[(bstart + dcm$data.seek):fsize], hdr, endian,  : \n  Number of bytes in PixelData does not match dimensions of image\"</p>\n\n<p>It doesnt happen when i read the test CT data ( 750M) </p>\n\n<p>Maybe because of the size? but it crashes way before consuming even 1G RAM\nSomeone experiencing same problems? </p>\n\n<p>To work around the size problem, i can manage the files based on the ids, but it is just a consistence consideration. </p>",
