  "content": "<p>Kaggle does not have a policy forbidding posting links and asking for upvotes, but I do believe that this practice is detracting from the overall experience. It has been called spam, and I believe this is right. Putting up posts on the Discussion board asking us to look at your notebook is getting in the way of seeing meaningful questions. I think we can all understand the desire for upvotes, but this shouldn't be the way to receive it.</p>\n\n<p>Also, for someone who has put in time and effort into making a notebook to share with the community, having someone else put a comment asking to look at their work does come off as being rude. I don't think this is the intention in 99% of cases, but at a minimum it is acting as an inconsiderate neighbor.</p>\n\n<p>If your work is good, we will find it and upvote it. At least I will!</p>",

Already there have been various discussions in the past of copying of notebooks, not giving proper credits etc. Spamming for upvotes adds another dimension to the value of Notebook medals. If the content of the notebook is good, one doesn't need to spam people for upvotes. Have you ever seen Chris Deotte's notebooks? He gets 100s of upvotes for the amazing quality of insights he provides. </p>",
