  "content": "<p>Every recent research comp besides GWD <strong>does not have points or prizes</strong>. Why? I can think about the iMet cheaters or maybe I can think of web scraping but seriously? No points or prizes?</p>\n\n<p>Look at Bengali.ai. The top performer, who got a solo gold was a contributor at the time. And even GMs were in awe of his solution. If you don't give points/prizes, something truly novel like that will most likely not come.</p>\n\n<p>I read last year's solutions to the comps, and they were pretty ingenious. I have a feeling Kaggle is not so enthusiastic about image recognition research comps because of iMet and iMaterialist last year.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Please reconsider your decision, hosts. Please take what I said into account too.</strong> </p>",
