  "content": "<p>Welcome to the Instance Segmentation Challenge track - part of the Open Image Challenge! We are excited to bring you a new type of challenge based on the Open Images V5 dataset recently released by Google AI. In this track, you are asked to create segmentation masks for objects.</p>\n\n<p>There are several hundred distinct classes of objects and nearly 100k test images. Because there are so many possible predictions, we are compressing our standard RLE masks to allow for more objects in our submissions. The mAP metric follows the same spirit as the <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/open-images-2019-object-detection/overview/evaluation\">Object Detection evaluation</a>, but takes into account mask-to-mask matching. Please see the <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/c/open-images-2019-instance-segmentation/overview/evaluation\">Evaluation tab</a> for more details about the new metric and compression.</p>\n\n<p>Note that submission file sizes are limited to 5GB.  Beyond that, they will fail to process.</p>\n\n<p>With the launch of the 3rd Instance Segmentation Track for Open Images' 2019 Challenges, we're offering Coupons for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) credits for participants in the 3 Open Images Tracks.</p>\n\n<p>You must have made a submission to at least one of the 3 Open Images Tracks. Then, complete <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/GCP-Credits-Open-Images-2019\">this form</a> by August 1, 2019. Each team may only receive 1 coupon across all 3 competitions.</p>\n\n<p>Good luck!</p>",
