  "content": "<p>I didn't finish my work before the deadline and I won't have time to run it again until next week. Can we still submit and receive Kaggle points and be placed in the leaderboard? Obviously the money is out of the question but I was thinking that it would be nice for me to see where the result would have been.</p>",

      "content": "<p>You can still make submissions and see how they would score on the private LB. But you wouldn't be placed on either the provisional or the final LB, it would serve only for you to know how good your model is compared to others.</p>",

Suppose we came up with an error free algorithm (note: accent heavy on the \"supposing\" for argument's sake),   wouldn't the owners of the competition want to see/use that algorithm? In fact, even if it wasn't public service, I guess the same holds true.</p>",
