As a part of the submission process, you have to make your Kaggle Notebooks public so we can review them (don't worry, you can make them public <em>immediately</em> at/after the deadline to keep your secret sauce secret until then).</p>\n\n<p>We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with!</p>",

      "content": "<p>What grace period do we have to turn them public?</p>\n\n<p>Edited to add:\nI think I get it now. Submission is a hard deadline.  Turning your submission public is soft because the notebooks are human judged and kaggle is nice.  If you take too long, the judges have nothing to judge, so don't do that. </p>",

Similar to last year, we received a flood of submissions at the very end, primarily because people did not want to make their notebook public until the last possible moment. </p>\n\n<p>I'm not going to be a stickler about the notebook being turned public at 11:59pm UTC or 12:01am UTC, but it should be done immediately after submission. We will check to make sure that no additional edits were made after the 11:59pm deadline.</p>",
