"content": "
I have 2 ideas that I think could be cool to explore:\n1. Argue NOT to remove synthetic turf, because there is not enough evidence/the accidents happen during high velocity plays/impacts/tackles. I think that this is a decent kernel to make, because I hypothesize the majority of kernels will vouch for the removal of synthetic turf due to the academic paper that came to that conclusion. But the NFL probably will select 2 that vouch for removal, and 1 that vouches for it to keep, or else the talks will all be about the same stuff (boring).
\n\n
\n
Make an argument about how synthetic turf is bad, but synthetic turf mixed in with real turf is good. This is just a hypothesis, and it might actually be the opposite. But there are in fact really 3 types of turf: real turf, synthetic turf, and a mixture of real and synthetic. A kernel focusing on the mixture could stand out.
\n
\n\n
Note: I am not participating, but I just wanted to share the ideas. Good luck
",
