"content": "
If I understand the data overview correctly, x values are 0-120 and y values are 0-53.3. I've come across a few values that do not seem to fit those parameters and I'm unsure of how to interpret them. For example:
\n
tracking2020.csv gameId=2020092003 playId=3697 frameId=24 seems to say that a kickoff was received by the receiving team with the football at x=-3.43. In fact, the x value for the football seems to be negative during this whole play.
\ntracking2018.csv gameId=2018102805 playId=2393 frameId=57 seems to say that a kickoff was received by the receiving team with the football at x=-9.39.
\n
Have I misread something here? How would you interpret a play that seems to be continuing while the ball is apparently out of bounds?
",
