\nI am open innovation enthusiast and love participating in competition like these because it helps me learn and you know its a competition and people like us love it. So I created this accounted 5 years and till 2020 i was either busy or other competitions did not get my attention and Lyft motion prediction is the only competition that got me excited and started my first ever competition this year participating in this competition. And like all other beginners I was called a novice and being the novice that I am, I was excited, I was learning and competing from and with all you fellow kagglers. I was reading notebooks, reading discussions, commenting in forums and submitting solutions. I loved doing all these during my time in evening.
What is the story about?
\nWhile doing all these on kaggle maybe I crossed a line by pointing out one of the kaggler in my discussion who was manipulating kaggle ranking system (some fellow kagglers might know this). Which I was not supposed to do in a way i did because one of the Kaggle rules say, \"Discuss and respect ideas. Don’t make it personal. We’re all here to learn and share ideas. When you have critical feedback, focus on the ideas that others are sharing, not the person.\" By pointing the person out and I think I violated this kaggle rule. I think I should have focused only on the idea of others manipulating kaggle ranking system and not on calling out a person by name for wrong doing. But Thanks to kaggle team. They took care of the issue by not allowing people to manipulate the ranking system. The person I pointed out ended up losing the ranking and his account is not available currently. The person I pointed out was also sending me Email with threats like he will contact my employer or the police and he continues to do so which I have been ignoring. Kaggle team also sent me an E-Mail by saying I violated only this small rule of 'don't make it personal' and no other rules are violated by me and that there will be no penalty on my account.
What is the current situation?
\nThe story has moved out of kaggle. I think the person is angry about loosing ranking/account. The person who lost his ranking who happens to be a professor has changed the story by contacting the business practice office of one of the major automotive industry in Germany which I am currently associated with (With whom I may or may not be working with). This office handles corporate information security. The claims he has made is unclear but it is related to me sharing company confidentiality information on kaggle for competition. He also claims I have harrssed him and he also claims to have registered a complaint with the police. (FYI 1.these are all claims from person, 2. I have support from the said company and the said company will deal with person directly). The Business practice office has asked the person for proof and the person seem to have not submitted any proof for the claims. With respect to copyright or confidentiality I have not violated any rules with the said company I am associated with. One of the major reason being I do not work on anything related this competition. To say it in simple words, I wrote my first deep learning algorithm here on kaggle in this competition and one of the reason why I was here was to learn and try things out. And sorry I did not know i should not mention someone name. Because I am one of those who accepts Terms and condition without reading it . The only reason I mentioned his name is I was already commenting on his notebook to stop plagiarism. He did not listen for 4 times. So I had to take it to discussion and mention his name.
What I need Help with?
\nI need help either from kaggle team directly or from people who know what issue i am talking about. The help i need currently is, I will write my side of the story about ranking manipulation and i need people to confirm that he actually did that you felt that the person was doing the ranking manipulation. Because some of you know what happened. If you woud like to help. You could write comment / write me an Email at deepak.purushothaman@rwth-aachen.de
Why I want this?
\nThe competition might end and I just need to have like a letter confirming my side of story to use in case I may face any problem in future. I might not face problem at all because I have not been notified by any police authority nor by the company associated for a response from my side.

\nTo be clear: you don't need to provide evidence of not doing what he says you did. It is for him to provide evidence that you did what he says you did. Self justification is the trap trolls want us to fall into.
