I know Python is generally better for modeling but I find R is better for EDA etc. </p>\n<p>I've tried using <code>reticulate</code> to import the package but the cell just keeps running:</p>\n<pre><code>library(reticulate)\nrepl_python()\n!pip install -U l5kit\n</code></pre>",

      "content": "<p>Hi Jared, there is currently no plan of porting l5kit into R. We massively rely on some python-only dependencies, so porting the entire stack to R would require a substantial effort.</p>",

      "content": "<p>Ok, Thanks. I presume the amount of dependencies is why it couldn't be imported with <code>reticulate</code>: it would have to import all the dependencies as well as any loaded R packages and data.</p>",
