I accidentally deleted the data models for my notebooks myself. I also had public notebooks that used these data models and someone definitely used them.

Is it possible to restore these data models or not? I don't have any copies of them. If it were just me, I would live with it. I don't feel comfortable letting down those who used my public notebooks.

Is it possible to protect against a similar situation in the future, given the case that happened to me?

For example, at least not allow models/datasets to be deleted if they are used in public notebooks, and the competition has not yet ended. It is not very difficult to make such a block?

In fact, we all often use publicly available data and models, and no one is immune from accidental deletion. But such a mechanism will protect participants from accidental deletion, otherwise they will now start making copies of all publicly available data.

If I saw an error message, I would assume the issue is in my code, but the complete absence of that particular notebook in the rescoring list seems unusual.
