"548575": "An accusation with no proof could lead to many things\nHowever, I prefer to wait until the second stage/private Leaderboard is over, the code is checked by the Kaggle team and the proofs are revealed",
"548576": "I do not want to believe that they share ideas (or code, data) personally. I want to believe that Kagglers are always fair.\nBut if they really did private sharing in the iMet competition, they might have done private sharing in this competition as well.\nI hope that the admins of this competition and the admins of iMet will work on this issue together.",
"548646": "Now comments made me wondering if the discussion happening here is really about whether employees of the same company should form a single team, or is it just another accusation towards the concrete group of people.\n\nIf second, I think it would be mildly inappropriate to raise the question of their integrity in a thread that is probably dedicated to a more broad problem (unless it was intended to denounce X5 guys from the start).\n\nIf first, no matter how unfair it feels, there is nothing that can be done with the problem that essentially comes down to *\"how do we prevent two individuals who know each other from privately sharing something\"*.\n\nYes, you can require them to reveal the code they used, but we all know how insufficient that is.\n\nI know that cheating is bad, and it sucks to be left behind because of it, but at the end of the day there is nothing we can do other than rely on each competitor's conscientiousness. Guys, let's all get along.\n![Leopold The Cat](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/bd/Leopold_the_Cat.svg/400px-Leopold_the_Cat.svg.png)",
"548935": "Some Japanese companies also have some kagglers. But I know they never do private sharing. I think employees of the same company doesn't have to form a single team. The most important thing is all kagglers obey the rule and kaggle team reveals rules about private sharing.",
"548980": "In Malware competition, top 3 teams on public LB had employees from DENA. But it was impossible for them to merge because of team size limit.\n\nDoes it mean that they were sharing info outside team? I don't think so.\n\nI work in a very large company. It would be totally impossible and unfair to force me to team with every employee (that I probably don't know) who want to enter a Kaggle competition I enter. Moreover, this would limit the number of employee per company to that max team limit.",
"549011": "Thank you all for your responses!",
"549031": "I think same company name is not a good feature to detect private sharing."
