  "content": "<p>Hi everyone! The competition's over, and we would like to thank everyone for participating. It's nice to see participation grow despite making the problem more and more difficult every year. :)</p>\n<p>As in previous editions, we'll invite a few participants to the challenge to give a short talk at the <a href=\"https://image-matching-workshop.github.io/\" target=\"_blank\">Image Matching Workshop</a>, which we hold every year at <a href=\"https://cvpr.thecvf.com/\" target=\"_blank\">CVPR</a>, the <a href=\"https://scholar.google.com/citations?view_op=top_venues&amp;hl=en&amp;vq=eng_computervisionpatternrecognition\" target=\"_blank\">top computer vision conference</a>. We feature invited talks, peer-reviewed workshop papers, and selected talks from challenge participants. The workshop will take place on June 11.</p>\n<p>If you'd like to be considered, please share a short write-up about your method by creating a new topic on this discussion board <strong>before the end of the week</strong>. You can see many examples from last year's competition <a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/image-matching-challenge-2024/discussion?sort=recent-comments\" target=\"_blank\">here</a>. If you're not able to make it public yet, you can also send us an email at <a href=\"mailto:image-matching@googlegroups.com\">image-matching@googlegroups.com</a> instead. We will select a few methods that catch our eye (by for instance solving problems in novel ways): not necessarily the top-scoring submissions.</p>\n<p>Please note that this is <strong>completely optional</strong>, and has no relation with prize elegibility, which will be determined once the leaderboards have been finalized.</p>\n<p>Cheers,<br>\n-- The organizer</p>",
