Thanks but previous year's competition wasn't 2d reconstruction. It was image matching or wide baseline stereo. I don't think there is a 2d reconstruction at all.

True, but for the classical pipeline, two-view matching is an important step of the full 3D reconstruction pipeline.
\nOf course, you can go with other methods, such as BA-NERFs and so on - we would be very curious to see how they perform.
