"content": "
I went to bed with a nice bronze medal and woke up discovering that my team has been disqualified because one of my teammates was using multiple accounts.
\n\n
Now, I completely understand that Kaggle cannot restore my rank in this competition. \nHowever, I was wondering what Kaggle can do to prevent this (to say the least) \"unpleasant\" situation. See below (lesson learnt) for what honest Kagglers can do themselves. \nFor example, the screening of multiple accounts could be done continuously during the competition. This would allow Kaggle to identify and disqualify single users (the cheaters) before they join a team and destroy the effort of serious and honest Kagglers. What do you think?
\n\n
Lesson learnt (the hard way)
\naccept to team-up only with:
\n - people you know well\n - Kagglers with a successful track record in competitions (not necessarily (grand)master but with some competitions behind)
",
