Unfortunately, it is not an error resulted by kaggle, and they may try to ignore it( I think now kaggle team has pretty hard time thinking what to do. Kaggle cannot let people to modify the submission kernels for the obvious reasons or select other kernels. The thing they really could do, though, is rerunning the submitted kernels on another hardware with more RAM, if they can afford it.",
"1305416": "Check leaderboard, more than half are zeros due to Kaggle bug.\nReally sad competition.",
"1305417": "It seems like error resulted by Kaggle because on submission it doesn't show any error in case of OOM issue on private data.\n\nBut totally agree with: \"The thing they really could do, though, is rerunning the submitted kernels on another hardware with more RAM, if they can afford it.\"",
"1305616": "But if kaggle run another hardware with more RAM, it is unfair to other participants when they should have more RAM and boost their model.",
"1306318": "zc191217 The problem is not RAM. The real problem is, before the ddl, a lot of people don't know the private set is not read from the kernel, as the read_image code go smoothly with both training set and public test set, and Kaggle submission page does not give any error. \nA lot of teams suffers from working on the zero-scored popular pipeline which they don't know until the ddl, and now you blame them for taking advantage of RAM. They work hardly as other teams, why don't you say is unfair for them?",
"1306339": "iafoss Thank you Iafoss. I feel nice to hear from you. Thanks for sharing those great kernels and posts. They really help a lot of people like me.",
"1306344": "I think, the private leaderboard will shake up again if the problem is solved. And, that’s why many people argued about fairness."
