"1152527": "Hi all,\n\nOn the first day of this year (see attached screenshot) i received one quite interesting email sent through Kaggle with the request to join our team.\n![](https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/kaggle-forum-message-attachments/o/inbox%2F1001498%2Ffe841acf170bca720d6c9728be78b207%2FScreenshot%202021-01-14%20at%2014.00.36.png?generation=1610612774792395&alt=media)\nWell, i understand nothing on Chinese, but thanks \"translate\" button in my inbox\n![](https://www.googleapis.com/download/storage/v1/b/kaggle-forum-message-attachments/o/inbox%2F1001498%2F09bac0a0136b11d0728ccbeb36fe0260%2FScreenshot%202021-01-14%20at%2014.00.48.png?generation=1610612787205490&alt=media)\nFirst, we (with my teammate @dannyelkallab) thought that this might be a bad joke (WHAT?! 🙀 ), then we supposed that maybe it's some tricky way to identify those who don't play fair or provoke to do so. \nBut after all it looks like unbelievable impudence and attempt to encroach on sacred - honest competitive spirit of Kaggle.\n\nI replied nothing to him to see what will happen next ... and I decided to make this information public after appearing of @letshidethatname [main hero of this story] on the LB in this competition as part of team (highly likely with similar conditions).\n\nWe think that such behaviour is simply unacceptable and should not be silenced from the community.\n\nAlso, you can find this guy quite high on the LB of another ongoing [competition](https://www.kaggle.com/c/cassava-leaf-disease-classification/leaderboard)\n\nI'm not sure if I'm eligible to disclose the name of our hero publicly and his teammates, but be sure that was reported to Kaggle staff.\n\nIt's the first time it happens to me, but I am wondering if it is common practice? :sarcasm:\nBecause one more extremely suspicious thing that interested us (of course without accusing someone) is the \"0 submissions\" kaggle profile activity of some team members while be ranked in top10/20/30/50 (including the hero of this story).\n\n@philculliton @juyingnan @katyborner @addisonhoward @leahscherschel\nCan you please provide some information on it?",
