  "content": "<p>Hey there, I am joining this competition quite late and I got a couple of questions regarding the dataset. Would be glad if somebody could clarify my doubts:</p>\n<p><strong>1. Regarding the EEG signals</strong> - Are they extracted when subjects were in resting-state or are they functional?</p>\n<p><strong>2. Regarding the artifacts</strong> - What are the possible artifacts in the data? Without knowing them, how to infer if they need to be removed or kept since some might be crucial for the analysis?</p>",

      "content": "<p>1) Seems that it was not mentioned anywhere <br>\n2) Classes of our interest are mostly placed into 1 - 20 Hz band, so the bandpass filter is used to get rid of most artifacts. Also, read about montages (usually subtraction of neighbor signals), they are used to capture only brain activity and filter artifacts  </p>",
