I think because of the above, I'll safely say the Kaggle community is the greatest place to learn about Data Science.

\n

It was an emotional moment when I reached the Discussions Grandmaster tier.

\n

I wanted to write a short thank-you note to the community. When I had signed up on Kaggle after discovering it via fastai, I was terrified and didn't know how to get started.

\n

At one point, I really wished that I somehow knew more about the journey of Kagglers. With this goal, I started a blog series that later became Chai Time Data Science Podcast

\n

Today, the podcast has crossed 200k+ streams and has a lot of its success thanks to the community's support.

\n

In a wild turn of events, my ML hero and guru: Jeremy Howard, who had introduced me to Kaggle, kindly agreed to be a guest host on the podcast and interviewed me about my journey

\n

I have received an insane amount of support throughout my journey, and I know I still have a lot to learn. I'll always be grateful to the Kaggle team and community for being so supportive to me, sometimes too much.

\n

THANK YOU, and I hereby solemnly swear to continue contributing to Kaggle and as a challenge to myself-slowly but sincerely start dedicating my time to competitions.

Glad to see your progress there mate. You won't believe but just yesterday I watched you interviewing Jeremy Howard about initial stages of the Kaggle and him being angel investor of it and obviously that some 53 min interview with @andradaolteanu as well. I'd say you're doing a great job. Not just the DS but through it the experience that you've gained in the exploration of other skills that you've inculcated in your content is quite commendable.
