\nConcerning your other remark, it is true that there are less competitors, likely due to the absence of medals and points.
\nHowever, in the case of scientific research, we are not interested in volume but rather in quality and originality of submissions.
\nMoreover, GeoLifeCLEF is a quite non-standard competition and dataset, and thus harder to enter for newcomers.
\nAs of now, we are happy to see that, with still 2 months to go, we have several participants who quickly reproduced and even, for some of them, beat the stronger baseline we provided. 🙂

\nLast November, when I discussed hosting the LifeCLEF competitions on Kaggle, I reported the same \"issue,\" and Kaggle came back to me a few hours later, stating that it was a bug and not intended behavior. They fixed it pretty fast.
\nNow, if you test it again, you will find all the competitions or posts using the keywords.
