"content": "<p>You can never be too sure in Kaggle , and things can change in hours here , just 9 days ago gold zone was 0.8813 and we were happy with our score and boom the gold zone went to 0.8821 in next two days and it completely blew us </p>\n<p>Luckily some of our ideas worked and we have stayed in the fight till final days . The domain knowledge required in signal processing and GW waves , also the shear amount of toll that this competition has taken in the last few days makes everyone who has participated a winner especially the top 30 teams .</p>\n<p>I honestly think there is still some shuffling left to happen in the last 10 hours with every team submitting their final best , hoping to stay at a good position myself at the end and wishing everyone best of luck , may the force be with you</p>",

"1528326": "tanulsingh077 \n\nthanks!!! I will take a look.\n\nFor this competition, I basically completed the course at: https://www.youtube.com/user/allsignalprocessing/videos\n\nand dreamed of sinuous waves at night",
"1528332": "can we ask G2Net to start a course for us?",
"1528343": "I'd also be interested to look at lift in terms of time/cost saving for the hosts. Can throw some light as to the overall efficacy of these models.",
"1528350": "I think that would be really awesome and maybe they can host another competition similar to birdclef people",
"1528359": "This was a great and tough competition experience for me. I usually spend a lot of time on EDA and on understanding details but this time I had to speed up as my internet connection was lost due to the flood for several weeks. This competition turned my working style inside out. Even though I'm far away from the top-zone, I can really say that this \"hunt\" yielded so many valuable learning experiences like how to:\n\n- improve performance on GPU & TPU (or using cloud computing)\n- understand and use different signal preprocessing methods and get to know ways to deal with audio data/time series or images\n- to iterate and cycle to find better solutions\n- decide which model to choose and which ones to drop\n\nI'm very curious how the top teams solved the problem and how they were able to make their solutions work for all different types of sources of GWs. Can't wait to read about your ideas! ;-)\n\nGood luck to all participants!",
"1528360": "It'd be awesome to get another competition on this domain, with a different problem set.",
"1528556": "Your last paragraph reminds me of online auction sites where everything is decided in the last few minutes. \nThanks for your topic I found it very interesting.\nHave a nice day :)",
"1528680": "Best of luck to all for the final few hours. It was a very tough and fun competition, I've learned a lot and hope to learn more once the top solutions are shared.",
"1529876": "This was a great competition experience.",
"1559889": "Hey All,\n\nThank you all for taking part in our competition. The participation has been overwhelmingly positive. We are currently conducting a survey to gauge the demographic and outreach achieved. Kindly spare 2min and fill in this survey https://forms.gle/QP9L16niPexozyhu5.\n\nThank you all,\n\nRegards,\nChris"
